History of This Ranch

In 1962 LeRoy and Myra Noecker decided to buy part of this ranch from The Shervington family.  Then in 1964 they bought the rest of it from the Dobson family.

Back then all roads were dirt roads coming out this way.  Keyhole was hardly used for recreation.  There were only about 3 or 4 homes including ours and the people at Keyhole State Park.

LeRoy and Myra made this a second home with their main home being in Gillette, WY.  LeRoy ran some cows and in the summer put up the hay.  IT was a family affair with help from the family.  In time the ranch became a family partnership .

When LeRoy passed away in 1986 his daughter and her family moved to the ranch.  They have been here ever since.  Her family raised cattle on the ranch but it could not support enough cattle to make a living .  As many people do Dick  had to also have another job so he became a pickup accesssory salesman.

By this time the road was paved and the school bus ran out here to pick up the kids.  The boom had not yet hit so there still were not a lot of homes.  Pine Haven , WY . a small town across the lake continued to grow.

Recently Rowdy and Dusty had the oppertunity to buy out the Noecker partners and become sole owners of the ranch.  For this we are very greatful.. We all will still be able to enjoy this beautiful place.  There will be three geneations living on this Ranch.  Dick and Susan, Rowdy ,Christy and their children,, Dusty, Jacelyn and their children. This ranch is a  wonderful place to live and raise a family.
